Orginality is not my strength for with a school for 4,000 students there really is no room for that. However on here I like many others shall find a way to escape the ignorance of others and move forward. Todays topic deals with Christmas, I my self do not celebrate Christmas, however find as pleasant as anyone else who did would. However a topic came up today how the tale of Santa Claus is not some fun story we tell our children but instead a tale of Pedophile. Now I am not trying to ruin the spirit of christmas for I assume that no child that believes in Santa Claus is on here, nonetheless the idea of a large hairy man coming into our homes and eating our cookies and giving us toys does seem rather odd when you think about. And just think about all those Santa Clauses that hire in malls that have children sit on their lap and tell them what they want? However, that is not the only issue at hand the fact that high profile companies want to take advantage of the spirit can turn into something ugly. Furthermore, I end my first blog with the concerns I am accompanied with.
